How to Convert CGPA to Percentage
CBSE & University Formula StandardCBSE 9.5 Multiplier Method
To convert CBSE CGPA into overall percentage marks, multiply the overall CGPA score by 9.5.
Percentage (%) = CGPA × 9.5
Example: CGPA of 8.8 = 8.8 × 9.5 = 83.60%.
Direct 10-Point Ratio Scale
For universities that evaluate direct 10-point GPA scales, divide CGPA by 10 and multiply by 100.
Percentage (%) = (CGPA ÷ 10) × 100
Example: 8.8 CGPA out of 10.0 = (8.8 ÷ 10) × 100 = 88.00%.
